(March 17, 2011) Energy Probe’s Norm Rubin appears on the Business News Network (BNN) to discuss the future of nuclear and the implications of China’s decision to put its nuclear program on hold.
“Reactor accidents make life more difficult for the nuclear industry everywhere,” Norm Rubin, Director of Nuclear Research at Energy Probe, says. “The question of tradeoffs we’ve made in letting bygones be bygones in safety standards reappears [after reactor accidents].”
Duncan Hawthorne, President and CEO of Bruce Power and Chair of the World Association of Nuclear Operators, joins Mr. Rubin on BNN’s panel of experts.
